What are the requirements to take the "New Riders"
course? |
| You will need to
provide your own riding gear (over-the-ankle boots, DOT approved
helmet, eye protection, long pants (preferably heavy fabric like
denim or leather), long sleeved shirt or jacket and full fingered
gloves). You must also know how to ride a bicycle and have a
license to drive a car. |

Do I have to have my own motorcycle to take the course? |
| No! Students use
one of our 492cc Buell® Blast® motorcycles for the course. |

Do I need to have a temporary motorcycle permit/license? |
|
No, it is not mandatory that
you have a temporary motorcycle permit/license to take the New
Rider Course®, but it is encouraged.
NOTE: Be advised if you haven't
taken the computerized temp test at the DMV before you complete
the course, you will have to take it in-order to get your license
with the road skills test waiver presented to each graduate.

What is the cost of the course? |
|
The cost of the course is $325.00
which includes the use of a Buell® Blast® motorcycle.
Students also receive a V.I.P. card to use for a 10% discount
at Stock's. Graduates that purchase a motorcycle from Stock's
receive a $100 gift certificate which can be used on any parts,
accessories or clothing you may desire.
NOTE: Graduates may be eligible
for a reimbursement from H.O.G.® or B.R.A.G.® if you
are a member. Also some insurance companies may offer a discount
to people that have successfully completed the course.

Do I need to have previous motorcycle riding experience? |
| No, all skill levels
are welcome to take the New Rider Course®. The New Rider
Course® is designed with the beginner in mind! |

| Question:
Do I still have to take DMV's road skills test to get my license? |
|
No! If you are present for ALL
portions of the course and pass both the written test and the
motorcycle range test, you will receive a waiver that you take
directly to the DMV. They will then issue you your motorcycle
endorsement.
NOTE: The waiver will exempt
you from having to take the DMV road skills test. However you
will still have to take the computerized temps test at the DMV
if you haven't done so already.

How do I sign up for the course? |

Currently you can stop in at
Stock's or call (920) 684-0237 and ask for the MotorClothes department.
NOTE: A $100.00 deposit must
be paid to secure your spot in a class. The balance needs to
be paid no later than 3 weeks before the start date of the class.
